over 30 years United States Surgical has been committed to innovation
in surgical technology and supporting technical education. As a pioneer
in the mechanical wound closure device area U.S. Surgical has developed
strong partnerships with clinical thought leaders and academic institutions
throughout the surgical community. Today, these "Centers of Excellence
" focus on developing enabling surgical technology that enhance
the quality of healthcare and create better patient outcomes.
The Centers program pursues this common goal through a combination of
Clinical Education & Training, Fellowships, Research Projects and
Studies and Surgical Product Development. In addition, many of the Centers
of Excellence are home to Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery
Centers where multi-specialty surgeons perform advanced laparoscopic
procedures on patients from all over the world.
